I read in the Wise County Messenger about the late Tobi W. Moss Sr. who die in a series of unfortunate events- if ever there was a series of unfortunate events...it is so unbelievable that I read the short blurb multiple times...and I felt I needed to share.
Here's what happened:
- It was 4 o'clock in the morning
- Still dark outside
- He was driving his two-axel Peterbilt utility truck
- A black Angus cow was standing in the road
- It was dark; the cow was black, and standing in the road
- He hit the black Angus cow with his truck
- He drug the black Angus cow with his truck
- His truck side-skid along the road
- The truck rand off the road
- Hit a pecan tree
- The pecan tree fell onto the truck
- The pecan tree crushed the cab of his truck
- A second pecan tree fell onto the truck and pushed the truck down a gully
- The crushed truck landed in a muddy creek bed
- Mr. Moss Sr. did not survive these series of unfortunate events.
- He left behind a wife and four children
